FALL IS FOR CHANGE.
We’re swooping in with a few EXCITING updates - First, let’s talk about the GREAT news!
The Summer Season at Frae Collective brought us recognition, rewards, and SUCCESS for our Downtown Billings expansion concept “Frae Collective”.
The Vendor Suites at Frae Collective have successfully launched and housed a variety of hobby and startup businesses in an effort to give our community a unique location to connect, learn, and GROW TOGETHER. This location is dynamic, diverse, and ever evolving - Be sure to visit often as things change up frequently!
Our Frae Everyday Goods Storefront at 116 N 29th Street is rolling along with our mission to provide Local & Sustainable Goods for Daily Living in Billings, MT and Frae Collective is resonating with our community in ways we could never imagine.
So grateful for the support of our customers, neighbors, and community at large.

Now, let’s talk about the other news…
If you’ve been following along with the Frae journey since the beginning - you know that we are a business built on choosing calculated risks and having the courage to take the next step towards the goals we have lined out before us.
No matter how scary the steps towards those goals might seem at the time.
In the beginning, we steam rolled from a soft pop up shop launch in a green house to a brick and mortar location within a matter of months.
At year three, with one location under our belt, we jumped head first into an opportunity for an expansion concept. Frae Collective is a Collaborative Retail Experience meant to incubate local talent and launch start up businesses.
Small business is COMPLICATED but the energy we have built around serving up local and sustainable goods for daily living keeps us excited to continue providing a connected shopping experience for our patrons in Billings, MT.
After years of hustle and growth, we’re turning a page in this chapter. It’s time to slow down and simplify. Iron out the wrinkles, shake the dust off of things that aren’t working, and put our energy into what is working well.
It is with mixed emotions, that we announce our plan to cease operations at Frae West. The lease is up and another tenant is ready to launch their dream - Just as we were able to - almost five years ago! Time sure does fly…
Our last day of normal hours at Shiloh Commons will be Thursday 9/24/2026.
What does this all mean? It means that sometimes - LESS is MORE.
MORE connection. MORE community. MORE collaboration.
We’ve got BIG plans to amplify and expand upon what we’re already succeeding with in Downtown Billings at Frae Collective.
And you’d better believe that we’ve already got another iron in the fire for something FRESH on Billings West End in the near future.
Envision a deeper dive into connection, community, and collaboration...
Stay tuned Frae Fans - you’re going to LOVE what’s coming next.
Looking forward to seeing you at Frae Collective in Downtown Billings soon -
Your continued support truly means the WORLD to us - Cheers!
