Here we GROW!
We’ve been sneaking around a little…
But it’s time to let the ‘cat outta the bag’ and tell you what we’ve been up to!
Our owner/founder Tiffany has spent the past five months attending various programs and educational workshops through Big Sky Economic, Rock31, and the Downtown Billings Association in order to compete in the Downtown Billings Business Plan Pitch Competition coming up next week!
What does that mean?
- First things first, we are NOT leaving our West End flagship location - business as usual at the little shop with the big dreams.
- We have come up with an additional business plan called ‘Frae Collective’ which will be home to all of your favorite local and sustainable daily goods from Frae Everyday Goods PLUS a new collaborative model with dedicated retail space housing expanded inventory from select makers as well as NEW additional services. Stay tuned - you’re going to LOVE what we’re adding!
- 100% for sure opening up Downtown?? No. There are two other competitors in our category. If we win, we have the opportunity to implement our plan in the months to come. Who ever says anything is 100% these days?!
- Isn’t a pitch competition kinda like Shark Tank? YES. But you can come watch! This event is open to the public and we would love for you to join us to show your support. We’re on at 9am sharp for a quick 10 minute pitch followed by a 10 minute Q/A session from the review committee. Click here for more information about the DBA's Business Pitch Competition.
Our mission with Frae Everyday Goods has always been to provide a convenient location to acquire local and sustainable goods for daily living. A rebirth of the neighborhood corner store but craft curated with ONLY GREAT GOODS. It is our intent to expand our reach to further service our ever expanding community and we believe that an additional location in Downtown Billings, MT aligns with that vision.
We hope you can join us for the pitch but if that’s not possible, keep following along for what happens next… They’re calling it a battle - we’re calling it an opportunity.
Thanks so much for all of your support - we are so grateful to call Billings, MT home!
